A thermal overload relay protects a motor differently from a circuit breaker. A solid-state relay and a time relay also require different load, control and timing data.

0.1-150 A family, class 10A, phase-loss protection, temperature compensation, manual/auto reset and 1NO+1NC auxiliary contacts.

NRE8 Electronic Overload

NRE8-25, NRE8-38, NRE8-40 and NRE8-100 families cover catalog adjustment ranges from 0.6 A to 100 A, depending on frame. Contactor compatibility must be confirmed when ordering NRE8-100.

Protection boundary: An overload relay protects against sustained overload and phase loss. Short-circuit protection still requires the correctly coordinated protective device.
