NC1 and NR2: the verified relationship
The 2026 manufacturer compilation identifies NR2—not NR8—as the primary overload family listed with NC1/CJX2 contactors in this selection table.

Important: The overload dial is set from the motor nameplate and applicable protection rules. Do not automatically set it to 125% of motor current.
